HEADS UP!

Following our first ever EHO inspection since taking over The Bull & Butcher in April 2019, James and I are delighted to report we’ve been awarded a ‘5' Star Rating which is the highest Food Hygiene score you can get! We’d like to thank the team at The Bull & Butcher for making this happen - particularly Carol Chapman and Hayley Durbin for their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond. This result can be found on the BCC website.

We are delighted to announce that the winner of our Homemade Sloe Gin Competition held n December 2023 was Chris Cherry, a much-loved friend and regular. He was up against some stiff opposition from the village and surrounding areas, and the lovely Laura Taylor had her work cut out choosing between the entries. Chris reigned supreme however, and walked away with the trophy. We will be holding another competition in December 2024 so make sure you harvest those sloes when the time comes and get your entries in.

Wednesday 31st January heralds the return of our Senior Citizens Lunch! Working in conjunction with Community Impact Bucks, these lunches will repeat on the last Wednesday of every month from 12pm - 2pm. Attendees will be given a choice of 2 mains and 2 desserts for only £12pp. We’re off to a flying start with only a few places remaining on the January lunch so give us a call to book - 01844 238094. Please do share with anyone you think might benefit.
